Colorado Women Lecture: Let the Women Vote!

One hundred years ago the 19th Amendment was ratified and Colorado helped lead the nation, with women voting since 1893. Dr. Marcia Goldstein, a historian specializing in Colorado women’s history and suffrage, offers a costumed lecture dramatizing the major players, political issues, and social conditions for women in Colorado at the time women won the vote. “Let the Women Vote!” commemorates the hidden contributions of Colorado women and inspires audiences to work for continued progress for all Coloradans—women, men, and families.
