Built in 1940 as a retirement home for William and Elizabeth Kelley, the Kelley House is an excellent example of a twentieth-century Cape Cod-style residence. At the time of the house’s construction, the Cape Cod style had gained unprecedented popularity across the United States, largely due to the efforts of Boston architect Royal Barry Wills, whose work was widely published.

First opened in 1959, the Fountain Inn motel is important for its association with East Colfax Avenue’s development over time into one of Denver’s most important commercial and entertainment corridors.

Built as a summer residence for F. O. and Flora Stanley in 1904, the Stanley House is a rare example of high-style Colonial Revival style architecture in the Estes Park area and is among the most notable examples in northern Colorado.

Constructed in 1925 for Odes Addington, owner of the local Texaco bulk fuel plant, the Star Filling Station played an important role in the town’s automotive transportation service economy by provided farmers, town residents, businesses and travelers with automotive fuel, lubricants and minor services until 1965.

The Von Long/Slagle House sits on what was once a 160-acre homestead established by widow Annie Bailey in 1873. The property changed hands a number of times before 1891, when farmer Frederick Von Long acquired the property.

Designed by architect Louis L. Armét of Los Angeles, California, the 1967 White Spot Restaurant is an excellent example of increasingly rare Googie style architecture. Popular during the 1950s and 1960s and influenced by car culture and the Space Age, the futuristic style originated in Southern California and spread across the United States, becoming a particularly popular style for coffee shops, diners, and motels near major commercial roadways through the 1970s.

Designed by local architect William N. Bowman in the Georgian Revival style and completed in 1925, the Colburn Hotel is a fine example of a residential hotel as constructed in Denver during the early twentieth century.

The 1908 Montrose Fruit & Produce Association Building played an important role in the commercial history of Montrose and the Western Slope, serving as a warehouse and office for the Montrose Fruit and Produce Association, and, later, as a warehouse for the Montrose Potato Growers Association—a function it continued to fulfill until the mid-1960s.

Our Lady of Guadalupe Church and Medina Cemetery embody the cultural traditions and practices of early Hispano settlers in Medina Plaza, a placita established near the Purgatoire River in southeastern Colorado by northern New Mexico native Agapito Medina and his family ca. 1862.

The 1906 Denver, Northwestern & Pacific Railway Depot in Kremmling is a fine example of an early twentieth century wood-frame combination depot.
