Spark your imagination with Ignite Nite at History Colorado

Ignite Nite kicks off April 11, 2017, 5 to 8 p.m.

DENVER — Venture deeper into Backstory with Ignite Nite—a new after-hours program for adults looking to connect interesting ideas with interesting people on the second Tuesday of each month at History Colorado Center.

Ignite Nite will explore themes related to the new exhibition, Backstory: Western American Art in Context, organized with the Denver Art Museum and sponsored by The Sturm Family Foundation. The series will begin with a “Cowgirl/Cowboy” theme on April 11.

Guests will get the chance to chat with curators in the gallery and enjoy silkscreening bandanas with Ink Lounge, live music of the Chimaera Guitar Trio, and trick roper performances, plus a cash bar with a signature cocktail and a trout smoking demonstration. Museum visitors are encouraged to wear their favorite belt buckle to show off their western spirit!

Join us the second Tuesday of each month for exciting events with the following themes:
May 9: Bison²
June 13: Duel
July 11: Climb

Ignite Nite is included in the cost of a general admission ticket: members are FREE, $12 adults, $10 students/seniors 65+. For complete information, visit www.HistoryColoradoCenter.org.
