Hands-On History provides safe, engaging learning opportunities for children from Kindergarten to 8th Grade. El Pueblo History Museum offers an all-day Friday program to meet the needs of Pueblo families.
As always, classes are taught by professionals - teachers, engineers, practicing artists - who have training and experience and have passed background checks.
Tuition is $360 for the full 12-week semester with automatic tuition assistance for families who qualify for free/reduced lunch, museum members, enrolling multiple kids, and for paying in full before the program starts.
Our Fall 2020 semester will offer two 10-student cohorts for the fall. These cohorts will be together all day, all semester long.
Cohort A: Advanced Clay, Poetry, i9 Sports, Survivor 2.0. Suggested for older or returning students. Cohort B: Modern Homesteading, Clay, Poetry, i9 Sports. Suggested for younger or new students.
WHO: Pueblo-area kids in grades 1-8 WHERE: El Pueblo History Museum, 301 N. Union Ave. WHEN: Every Friday, September 18-December 11, from 8 am to 4 pm. Drop off begins at 8 am, Pick up before 4:15 pm. COST: $360 for the semester with tuition assistance available to cover up to 70% of the cost.
