History Colorado's Preservation Sweepstakes
May is National Preservation Month, and you can celebrate this year by participating in this special sweepstakes from History Colorado and the State Historic Preservation Office.
There are over 4,700 historic sites across Colorado, and 25 have been selected for this contest. To participate, all you have to do is travel to one of these locations, take a picture, and post it to social media (Instagram or Facebook) and use the hashtag #PreserveCO and #HistoryColorado. Each site you take a picture at is another entry, and at the end of National Preservation Month the winner(s) will be selected!

Prizes
The winner(s) of the sweepstakes will receive a State Historical Fund tote bag, 5 passes to History Colorado museums in eight location around the state, and a two-person pass for the Georgetown Loop Historic Railroad.
The winner(s) will be chosen by random section, and will be notified via social media within two days of the contest ending.
Basic Rules:
- All participants must be 18 years of age or older.
- The contest begins on May 1, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. (MST), and ends on May 31st, 2023 at 11:59 p.m. (MST).
- All entries must be in the form of a photo of one of the designated properties, and must be submitted by being posted to Instagram or Facebook using the hashtags #PreserveCO and #HistoryColorado.
- Any participant that causes damages to property will be disqualified.
