Agnes Vaille Shelter

Larimer County

Constructed in 1927 near the top of Long’s Peak to provide shelter for climbers, its native stone construction is in keeping with the Rustic ideal of National Park Service architecture.

A black and white photo of the shelter with narrow entrance and stones leading up to it on the side of a mountain.
