Aldrich House

Built in 1885, the Stick style house was one of the earliest residences constructed in the Monte Vista area.

Chauncey S. Aldrich, one of the original founders of the town - which was first called Henry - had the house built for his family.  As town manager and a publisher of one of the earliest newspapers, Aldrich set the temperate tone for the early settlement of the town.
