Ouray County
Constructed in 1911, the two-story brick and stone, Richardsonian Romanesque style building is associated with Amos E. Walther, who played an important role in the development of the town of Ridgway.
In addition to the Bank of Ridgway, which operated until 1931, the first floor of the building housed a variety of businesses over the years, including the post office and a pharmacy. Office tenants occupied the second floor.
