Clermont Street Parkway

The .3-mile parkway dates from 1911 and is a good example of the use of a parkway to connect a residential neighborhood and a neighborhood park to the main parkway system.

This parkway also illustrates the evolution of parkway design toward open planting intended to appeal particularly to the motorist. The property is associated with the Denver Park and Parkway System Thematic Resource.
