Delta Post Office & Federal Building

Delta County

Built in 1938, the simple two-story brick building, with three vertical marble panels marking its façade, is an interesting expression of Neo-Classicism.

A black and white photo of the building with brick walls interspersed with vertical cement portions at the entrance and either side of it.

Delta Post Office & Federal Building

As a major construction project during the Depression, it serves as a reminder of the federal presence during a period of national economic emergency.  Listed under U.S. Post Offices in Colorado Thematic Resource.
