East 6th Avenue Parkway
Denver County
Extending nearly two miles, this is the longest east/west parkway in the Denver park and parkway system and provides the setting for many fine residences.
The mature plantings are evidence of the sure hand of Saco R. DeBoer, but they were clearly influenced by Olmsteds’ palette for the East 17th Avenue Parkway. Construction took place between 1909 and 1912. The property is associated with the Denver Park and Parkway SystemThematic Resource.
