Gold Miner Hotel

Boulder County

The 1898 two-story portion of the hotel is a well-preserved example of the type of vernacular log construction associated with the early commercial development of Eldora.

A view of the hotel from an angle, showing a white facade with covered porch and gabled window on hipped roof. On the side are brown boards and white-trimmed windows.

On the main façade, the original clapboard installed over the squared, rough milled logs is still in place.  An historic 1934 one-story log addition extends from the rear.  The property is associated with the Metal Mining and Tourist Era Resources of Boulder County Multiple Property Submission.
