The Rustic style Grand Lake Lodge was originally built between 1919 to 1926 to service organized tours to Rocky Mountain National Park.
Situated on approximately 50 acres, there are some 103 buildings in the lodge complex, including the main lodge, 40 guest cabins, 47 employee cabins, and several outbuildings. The lodge remains in operation as a popular local resort.
