Gunnison River Bridge II
Gunnison County
Designed in 1926 to cross the Gunnison River the Colorado Department of Highways, the 125- foot long steel rigid connected Pratt through truss was fabricated by American Bridge Company.
Completed in 1927 by Lambie-Bate Construction Company, the essentially unaltered bridge, along with the nearby Gunnison River Bridge I, survives as one of the last remaining examples of what was a common bridge type. Listed under Highway Bridges in Colorado Multiple Property Submission.
