Inez Johnson Lewis School

El Paso County

The original 1920 portion of this two-story brick Mission style building was designed by Colorado Springs architects MacLaren and Hetherington.

A black and white photo of the school with hipped roof and two levels of white framed windows clustered in a few locations around the building. On the left is a staircase leading up to the third floor.

Inez Johnson Lewis School

It was one of the first schools constructed in the region for the purpose of consolidating the student population.
