Miller House

Constructed circa 1888, the house is associated with Mary Miller, the founder of the town of Lafayette. In 1884, coal was discovered on the 1280 acre Miller farm.
Miller platted the 150 acre townsite in 1888 and named it Lafayette after her late husband. Listed under Lafayette Coal Mining Era Buildings Thematic Resource and Mining Industry in Colorado Multiple Property Submission.
