Constructed in 1926, the log building is one of the earliest structures in the park reflecting National Park Service Rustic style architecture.
Plans were drawn by the Los Angeles Landscape Engineering Division, under the supervision of Daniel P. Hull. Listed under Rocky Mountain National Park and the Historic Park Landscapes in National and State Parks Resources Multiple Property Submissions.
