The Montezuma Valley National Bank Building and Store Building is home to KSJD Community Radio, whose nonprofit mission is to inform, entertain, and empower the people of the Four Corners. The bank building itself is listed in both the Colorado State Register of Historic Properties and in the National Register of Historic Places.
As the result of an inspection conducted according to the previously funded Historical Structure Assessment (#08-HA-025 2008) and the Building Operations and Maintenance Manual, professional roofing contractors have determined that the roof of the historic Montezuma Valley National Bank Building is nearing the end of its serviceable lifespan, and requires removal and replacement. Before the end of 2017, a professional roofing contractor will furnish and install a new roofing system on the building, providing much-needed protection against the elements.
