The S Lazy Ranch near Vernon began in 1886 as a homestead and tree claim. The original sod house was replaced around 1900 by a 2 story, 4 room structure. This house is home for Oscar Stults' son and family. The farm has a tradition of raising hogs, chickens, wheat, corn, oats and barley.
