Sherman & Ross Block

Montrose County

This two-story, two-part commercial building was constructed in 1910 at the center of downtown Montrose.

A black and white photo of the building with two stories, several awnings coming down over shopfronts and on the left and vertical windows on the second floor.

Perhaps Montrose’s best preserved commercial building, it has continuously housed a variety of businesses over the past ninety years.  The central entry, flanked by storefronts with recessed entries, remains intact and leads to second-story apartments.
