La Plata County

Annie Mason, grandmother to current owner Karen Zink, filed the homestead for Sunnyside Farm in 1900, then had to dig a mile long ditch by hand to bring water in order to farm.

Sunnyside Farm is the largest certified organic farm in La Plata County for their hay. The farm also has a pasture for cattle and sheep.
