Uncompahgre Valley Water Users Association Office

Montrose County

Constructed in 1905, the Water Users’ Association has occupied the building since 1932.  As such, it is important for its association with one of the first projects undertaken by the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation, the Uncompahgre Reclamation Project.

The two-story wood frame building is located in a residential neighborhood and is a good local example of the Foursquare building type.
