Westlake School

Replacing a 1902 wood frame building, the circa 1920 Westlake School served as an educational and social facility for rural portions of western Adams County through 1990.

Westlake School

Primarily housing first through eighth graders, the one-story brick building, with a garden level basement, provided space for five classrooms and a gym.  After ceasing operation as an elementary school in the early 1970s, it served first as an alternative school and then a preschool from 1985 to 1990.
