History Colorado programs highlight prominent Colorado topics

Denver -  History Colorado has announced the upcoming lecture series that are scheduled in April  in conjunction with the two current exhibits: The 1968 Exhibit and El Movimiento.

The History Colorado Center will be hosting four programs to highlight specific issues and topics that the exhibits draw attention to, and allow for greater, in-depth discussions.

“We are particularly excited about these lectures because they help to enrich and foster discussion about our current exhibits,” says Shawn Snow, Adult Programs Director at History Colorado,  “Hearing perspectives from prominent speakers enhances the overall exhibit experience.”

Civic engagement is at the core of History Colorado’s mission, and aims to involve the community in these lively lectures, offering the opportunity to learn and become active in local and state issues. Simultaneously, participants will be able to interact in a unique way with current exhibits.
