Teas at the Center for Colorado Women's History at Byers-Evans House
Victorian Garden Tea
Saturday, April 25, 2020 | 12:30PM — 2:30PM
The flowers of a Victorian garden often made their way to the American West by way of women who moved to places like Colorado. While the garden on our historic house grounds has changed over the decades, many plant varieties remain, including a rose bush planted by our very own Cornelia Evans. After perusing our garden we'll continue with a tour of the period-restored home of the Byers and Evans families. Then we'll gather in the tea room while enjoying a three-course tea of fresh fruit, scones, tea sandwiches, and our Lady Evans tea.
The Center for Colorado Women’s History at the Byers-Evans House hosts a variety of themed teas throughout the year, including our popular Holiday Tea and our Votes for Women Tea. Our teas take you on a guided tour of the historic home and then to the tea room to enjoy a three-course tea of fresh fruit, scones, tea sandwiches, desserts, and our Lady Evans Tea. Check the events list below for upcoming teas and call 303-620-4933 to reserve your seat!
Host a private tea event at the Center for Colorado Women’s History in the historic Byers-Evans House!
