Women in Colorado have been voting since a referendum passed in November 1893, and the Center for Colorado Women's History will host our Votes for Women Tea this March! The relationship between tea gatherings and the path to women’s suffrage intertwined in many facets of the movement. We begin with a tour throughout the house museum that will immerse our guests in the time period in which many women fought for the right to vote! Afterwards, we'll gather in the tea room to enjoy a three-course tea of fresh fruit, scones, muffins, and our Lady Evans tea.
