Bouvier-Lathrop House

The mixture of Queen AnneRichardsonian Romanesque, and Neo-classical stylistic elements makes the house one of the most interesting on Capitol Hill.  Michel Charles Bouvier of New York owned the house from 1891 until 1921 and rented it out to a series of tenants, including Wilbur C. Lothrop, who established the public school system in Colorado.
