Michael Weeks is a lecturer in the Department of History and Political Science at Utah Valley University. He is the author of Cattle Beet Capital: Making Industrial Agriculture in Northern Colorado, which tells the story of how Greeley evolved from a planned agricultural colony to become the world’s epicenter for commercial cattle feeding.
